Academic Standards

The Lutheran Academic Standards support parents, schools, and teachers by ensuring instruction remains theologically faithful and rooted in Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions. While the Lutheran Religion Standards provide level-specific guides for the content subject of religion, these Lutheran Academic Standards serve as an overarching portrait of a graduate for content subjects that do not necessarily include faith integration when taught outside of Lutheran schools.

By integrating faith across all subjects, the standards uphold what is good, true, and beautiful in God’s creation, forming students who think clearly, believe confidently, and live faithfully as witnesses to Christ.
